Electric utilities often face steep costs during high-demand periods, prompting the need for strategies to alleviate strain on the power grid and prevent potential blackouts. Meltek facilitates a collaborative approach where consumers are compensated for lowering energy consumption, thus assisting utilities in managing expenses and reducing reliance on environmentally unfriendly power sources during peak demand events.

How It Works:

 <li>Receive notifications ahead of energy-saving events via push alerts, emails, or text messages, providing an opportunity to earn rewards by curbing electricity usage.</li>
 <li>Implement energy-saving measures during events, such as pre-cooling your home, adjusting temperatures, turning off lights, unplugging devices, or rescheduling appliance usage. The flexibility lies in your hands to conserve energy effectively and increase potential earnings.</li>
 <li>Receive rewards from Meltek after each event, which can be utilized for redeeming gift cards, supporting charitable causes, planting trees, purchasing carbon credits, or transferring savings directly to your bank account through Stripe. Additionally, you can boost your earnings by referring friends, family members, or neighbors to join the Meltek platform.</li>
